Lieutenant Governor Kounalakis Attended the CA Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony and Issueed the Following Statement

SACRAMENTO – Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis attended the 43rd annual California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony today in Sacramento and has issued the following statement.

“Today we honor eight officers who lost their lives in 2018 in service to our state, and we recognize their families for their sacrifice. It is important to pay tribute today to those lost this year, and in years past, for their courage, dedication and unwavering commitment to the safety and security of our communities. We will never forget their sacrifice.”

The eight officers lost in 2018 are:
