Lt. Governor Kounalakis signs the international Regions for Global Sustainable Development Declaration and issues statement
Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis issued the following statement today regarding the international Regions for Global Sustainable Development Declaration. Other signatories to the Declaration include the following: Emilia-Romagna Region, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Novelle-Aquitaine Region, and Gauteng Province.
“I am proud to sign this declaration committing California’s participation in responsible globalization. This Declaration exemplifies California’s values and priorities globally as we continue to be a leader in international cooperation and economic innovation. I look forward to working together to address global challenges that will benefit our economy, climate, and culture.”
