Lieutenant Governor Kounalakis to Chair Fourth Meeting of International Affairs and Trade Development Committee
SACRAMENTO – Led by Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, the California International Affairs and Trade Development Interagency Committee will convene its fourth meeting today, March 9, 2020 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm in State Capitol Room 113. Interagency committee members will recap recent trade visits, discuss ongoing international priorities, and review California’s continued strong relations with Mexico. View the Agenda.
The International Affairs and Trade Development Interagency Committee was created last year when Governor Gavin Newsom signed Executive Order N-08-19, which designated Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis as California’s representative for economic interests abroad and established the interagency committee.
